In advance (barely!) of the meeting Thursday 2/4, I thought it might be nice to get the links out there for the record book files we'll need for this year.
From the WSU Clark County Extension 4H Record Book page(http://clark.wsu.edu/youth/RecordBooks.html) you will need:
* C0856 Individual Horse Record
* C0857 Horse Management Record
* C0934 Clark County Version Project Record, Computer Version (or the Handwritten Version if you are handwriting it)
You will have to scroll down the page and click the link for each document. Save each file to your computer.
From the WSU 4H Extension website, the 4-H Publications and Projects page you will need:
* C0935 Permanent 4-H Record, Level 2.

The link opens the actual document in a pdf format. Do a File>Save As on the document to save it to your computer.

Record Book Training on Thursday 2/4
There will be a Record Book Training (Workshop) on Thursday, Feb 4th. Here's the official description:
Leaders, members and parents are welcome. CASEE, 11104 NE 149th Street, Brush Prairie, WA, Building B, room 205, 7 p.m.
These meetings are enormously helpful if you have questions about the record book and it's also a great time to just bring your record book and work on it.
That's right off the 4H Members Calendar on the WSU Clark Co. Extension website.

The Saturday Clinic with Liz Barnard
A Great Big Thank You to Liz Barnard for the Saturday clinic she offered to Trot To The Top and the Clover Crest clubs Saturday, Jan 23rd!
Every student received individual attention and both horse and rider issues were addressed. I didn't speak to every person that attended, but from what I could see, everyone seemed quite pleased. The clinic was held at the Rockin B House Ranch arena, a great venue for this clinic, and organizer, Stephanie Hope (Trot To The Top), made sure everyone was well fed. What a terrific way to spend a Saturday!
Thanks, Liz, for giving our 4H clubs the opportunity to benefit from your instruction and experience. And a big thanks to Stephanie Hope for organizing such a great clinic.
